Hi, I'm Helblu Htoo
This is my portfolio for my graphic design works. They're a showcase of how I was able to incorporate fun and playful motifs into different designs. Many of them features bright bold colors along with cartoon imagery, which I enjoy. My goals for these projects were to go out of my comfort zone and work with different mediums within graphic design. I strive to expand my skillsets in this field and I'm hoping these projects conveys that.
My background with graphic design
I was first introduced to graphic design by my older brother who had taken classes in high school. He recommended I take them as I had just started to draw digitally. I took up his recommendation and found myself enjoying the class. As I was nearing the end of my senior year in high school I had yet to choose a major for college. I ultimately landed on graphic design as my older brother had major in it for a bit, but he warned me it was nothing like high school. Not heeding his warnings I ditched my initial path of architecture and went into graphic design with limited knowledge of the field. Studying graphic design has been challenging, but in a way that intrigues me. Although I've picked up quite a bit from where I started, I still feel there's much I still don't know. No matter what stage I'm at in design, I intend to keep learning and improve upon my abilities.
